The Southern Nicoya Peninsula is made up of several towns, both on its beaches, and inland, and the roads from all of them generally lead to Cobano, which is in the center.
The beach towns are mostly tourism related, and are thus very expensive to buy land or rent a house. The inland towns are more about cattle ranching, and have less foreigners, as well as less tourists.
