Casa Colores

If what you need from your holiday is a magical escape to a jungle paradise either with friends or family, then you won’t find a better place to stay that Casa Colores near Montezuma on the beautiful Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica. The ‘colourful’ houses are a group of 7 cabins nestling in the verdant Costa Rican forest with access to the interior jungle, beautiful white beaches and lovely little fishing villages, like the nearby village of Montezuma.

The resort is small and offers four one-bedroom houses, each of which can sleep up to three people. The little Yellow House is fully equipped with one bedroom, small kitchen, secure parking and daily maid service. It is situated near to the coast road, giving you quick access to the beaches and the villages of Montezuma and Cabuya.

Also near to the road is the charming Blue House. This house again sleeps up to three people and is fully equipped, like all our cabins. It is also near to the road allowing you to explore the majestic coastline of the Nicoya Peninsula at your own leisure.

What better way to wile away an afternoon that relaxing in a hammock on your own private porch? While all our houses have their own hammocks, the Red House hammock is perfect for balmy afternoons while your friends and family play in the shared pool.

Also near the pool is the Green House. As with all our small houses it sleeps up to three people and is fully equipped to make your stay here as luxurious as possible. Spend your time at the pool, on the beach or exploring the wildlife-filled jungle that comes down to the edge of the complex.

For larger groups we have the enchanting Pink and Violet Houses. These can sleep up to 6 people in two bedrooms and are perfect for family groups. Each house is fully equipped and comes with maid service. WiFi is available as standard in all the accommodations.

For families who like more seclusion, there is Casa Sueca. This house has two bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people. There is a small kitchen, private dining area and fully-fitted bathroom. WiFi and a safe are provided as in all our properties.

Apart from beautiful tropical beaches, there are many things you can do while staying at Casa Colores. Explore the fishing village of Montezuma with its quaint houses, bars and restaurants, or visit Cabuya further south. From Cabuya you can walk out, at low tide, to Cemetery Island and explore the beautiful pristine reefs.

Snorkelling and scuba diving is also available at Tortuga Island, which also offers its own sandy beaches. How about a horse ride through the jungle and then race through the surf on one of the long beaches. With the oldest national park in Costa Rica just 10 kilometres down the road, Casa Colores is the ideal spot to plan your Costa Rican adventure.
