The Hotel Casitas Sollevante is a family boutique property that offers small family/oversized rooms, air conditioning and complimentary parking. A lush garden, an elegantly kept front desk and a relaxing bbq/picnic zone are some of the striking features this resort offers to its guests. Rooms at the Casitas are tastefully appointed and offer all a host of comfortable amenities including a refrigerator, complimentary toiletries and an in-room dining zone. A private toilet, a shower and plush seating side is available in every room at Hotel Casitas Sollevante. Other than essential amenities to keep guests comfortable, the resort enjoys a great location, allowing guests to conveniently access a range of famous town sights and attractions. Guests looking go on an explorative adventure in and around Montezuma can visit Tambor, a 30-minute ride away from the hotel. They’ll serve breakfast by the pool each morning (breakfast not included in the hotel price).
The pool itself looks pretty and makes for a pleasant sight from one of the apartments. The rooms are also all comfortable complete with a tiny kitchen area, a living area and a large bathroom with an extended porch offering a spectacular view of the ocean. The villa is located at a 5 minute taxi ride up a hill from Montezuma. The rooms are all clean and well-maintained and the staff here is extremely courteous and tuned in to the customer’s needs. Other than being well kept, the casitas are nicely spread over a sprawling hilltop landscape property. There are mango and other fruit trees in the vicinity for those who’d like a great do it yourself smoothie for breakfast. The other star attraction here is Chicho the cute pig. Hotel Casitas Sollevante offers complimentary Wi-Fi connection.
The area around the hotel is nothing short of an adventure with the main town being accessible through a jungle or a gravel unlit path. If you’re crazy enough to venture into the jungle at night you’ll be treated to sights of the region’s varied wildlife such as iguanas, howler monkeys and other smaller reptiles and mammals. You’ll hear plenty of howlers barking at night. You can enjoy lovely sea view barbeque nights with the family or dine in at one of the copious restaurants bars in Montezuma. The villas are constantly undergoing renovation and being refurbished for the guests comfort.
My new favorite restaurant, Clandestina is not to be missed by food lovers staying anywhere near to Montezuma. Established in March 2015, Clandestina is the new kid on the block. The Oregon/Tico collaboration is a winner among locals and travelers alike, with artisan craft beers, made onsite by Butterfly Brewing Co. and delicious, exciting […]
