Hotel Lys is a beachfront hostel/hotel located in the town center, popular with back-packers and budget travelers who visit Montezuma.

The accommodations are very rough, but popular among younger tourists because of the incredible location for a low price. It has a fun vibe that appeals to students, hippies, and adventure seekers. Hotel Lys also lets you pitch a tent on the beach next to the hotel.

El Parque is on the beach just north of the downtown center of Montezuma, in a cute cover where the boats and tours are launched. It’s easy to spot because there’s a large concrete sculpture of an iguana or lizard in front.
