Hotel Celaje

The Hotel Celaje, in Cabuya, on the beautiful Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica, offers a selection of seven spacious and secluded bungalows. Each bungalow can sleep up to four people (on the second floor) with all the other facilities you need on the ground floor. The hotel has its own restaurant and bar, serving a selection of local and international dishes. If you prefer, you can step out of the hotel and explore the nearby villages of Cabuya or Montezuma.

The Hotel is a few kilometres from the Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve, the oldest national park in Costa Rica. Here you can explore the pristine, untouched, jungle, and meet some of the local wildlife including Howler and Capuchin Monkeys as well as the more exotic parrots and agoutis.

At low tide you can walk out to the Isla de Cabuya, a beautiful little island that has its own reef which is perfect for snorkeling. Snorkeling and diving can also be undertaken at the larger Tortuga island which also has beautiful and secluded beaches.

On the road up to Montezuma, you can turn off and explore the rivers and streams that meander down to the ocean below. Many of them have created perfect little swimming pools and there are some spectacular waterfalls for you to explore as well. If you like your water a little more wild, you can go down to the famous surfing beaches at Mal Pais and Santa Teresa, or book a deep-sea fishing trip at the local port.

As restful or as active as you require, the Hotel Celaje is your perfect spot on the Nicoya Peninsula.
